Gender equality is at the core of our organization. “EmpowerHER Climate” a pioneering project by Climate Hub Tanzania, recognizing the indispensable role of women in combating gender-based violence (GBV) while tackling the urgent challenges of climate change. Through advocacy programs, skill-building workshops, and leadership development, EmpowerHER Climate equips women with the necessary tools to lead the fight against GBV and environmental degradation.
● Ecopreneurship Program: Empowering women in communities to employ themselves by training them on creating eco-friendly briquettes from paper waste that they can exchange for money. This addresses environmental challenges, promoting sustainable livelihoods and environmental conservation.
● Capacity Development: We equip women with necessary knowledge, skills and seed funding to combat impacts of climate change in their communities.
