Climate Hub Tanzania

Youth and especially women face disproportionate impacts of climate change, Tanzania is a developing country with more rural areas than urban. Recognizing the drivers of poverty and climate change are linked, Climate Hub Tanzania emerges to contribute towards these logical interventions by placing young people and women at the forefront of environmental governance. We aim to build the nation's capacity to reduce landscape degradation and loss of natural resources, promoting sustainability and resilience for generations to come

Our Mission

Climate Hub Tanzania's mission is to empower youth, women and local communities in Tanzania to actively participate in the fight against climate change and environmental degradation.

Our Objective

Climate Hub Tanzania aims to empower youth and women to become proactive agents in mitigating climate change and advocating for climate justice through tailored climate educational programs, practical skills training, and community engagement initiatives. We will enhance awareness and understanding of climate issues, equip participants with sustainable practices and leadership skills, and nurturing community-wide participation in climate action. By continuously monitoring our impact, securing resources, and promoting eco-friendly practices, we aim to build a resilient and informed community ready to tackle the challenges of climate change effectively.

Our Vision

Climate Hub Tanzania envisions a future where Tanzania's natural resources are conserved, and its communities thrive in harmony with the environment, young people and women leading the move.
